(23,946 posts)There are "unseen undercurrents" and "rickets" that the religious zealots and white supremacist fascists are "tapping into".....said the talking head on ABC-do the names really matter much anymore? Someone better go on a field trip and find out what those unseen currents comprising half the GOP voters might be?! Pro tip: Go look in the rivers of voters in the GOP swamp that believe Obama is a secret Muslim.
Trust me, it is not pretty.

(12,882 posts)is that one might assume these reporters/opinionists screen-fillers would have had to get a degree in urinalism or some relevant field of study before gaining the right to stand in front of a camera and pretend to be enlightening. And yet, I'm listening to these clips - me, the high school dropout - and thinking:"hell, I could do that with ease!"
If all it takes is the ability to not allow "dead air" for a couple of minutes - while exercising "pull-it-outta-your-ass" predictions - how did I miss that boat? Gives the term "News Anchor" a whole new meaning - like taking your audience down with you.

(2,479 posts)"Is America ready for a devout Socialist Candidate," which is inaccurate to start, as he's a "Democratic Socialist." And he asks the question, as if "Socialist" is a bad thing--Oh right, the media and every institution in America has been selling it as a bad "word" without defining it for, well, forever.
Plus the real question behind the question--"Will the American media allow this guy to be elected." Now there is the real question, there is the doozy. Or will Americans realize our media is a bunch of entitled millionaires, who are edited and given their marching orders from another group of millionaires that work there, and the stations are owned by yet another group of even richer millionaires.
And none of them have true Americans' interests in mind.
So why do we listen to them again? Because honestly, I agree with about 94% of what Bernie does, so I'm voting for him. Why don't you just find out if you agree with him more than Hillary, and the media damned sure isn't going to labor on the differences, because they don't want you to know, because they know you WILL like Sanders' platform better than Clinton's. So they'll keep on talking about her emails, and ignoring Sanders as much as possible.
