The home healthcare industry has taken off in recent years, as more and more people are opting for in-home medical services instead of living their final years in an assisted living facility. But this industry has been ripe with corporate abuse and wage theft and stagnation, as healthcare workers are expected to work exceedingly long hours for very little pay. Two weeks ago, a federal court handed down a huge victory for these workers.
