Did "Club for Growth" Try to Shakedown Donald Trump To Buy Their Silence?

_________

John King discusses ad campaign in the video, which CNN reports was planned against Trump.

Flash forward to the recent release of a letter, via Trump , from the conservative Club for Growth, which asked for a cool One Million Dollars -- which appears to be delivered to Trump's offices. You be the judge. Sounds like what it sounds like to me. I'm only asking the question...

link (below) of this attempted 'fundraising' along with the Club for Growth's response, saying in their twitter:

"Actually (Donald Trump) asked for that mtg & then asked for races he could support. Thought he could buy us off. Worst Kind of Politician"

Seems to me they bit off more than they can chew with this one. A million dollars. WHATTA-LAUGH on those folks who thought they could just walk into a politician's office and ask for exorbitant amounts of money -- especially in light of the negative-ad campaign which CNN reports they planned.

and do the Koch boys actually think having higher taxes on hedge fund billionaire managers is a losing issue for Trump? A reading of the general mood out there (albeit in blue NM) turned up seething just below the surface at the free ride those weasels are getting. While they might have managed to tap into a lot of barely suppressed racism mixed with the end of the Millennial Fever hysteria when they created the Tea Party, they seem to be rather tone deaf with this campaign.

The better one is the overexposure the media are giving The Donald as he struts and preens whenever there is a camera present. At some point, the magic will be gone and people might start listening to some of the bombast and that will be it for him.

Both parties have power brokers who seem to be lost in some Never Never Land of their own making, completely misreading the candidacies of both Trump and Sanders.

Business as usual is not going to be selling well in either party.
