Great!

(5,169 posts)Now more than ever, I wish he would run. I would actively campaign for him at the first opportunity.
Alas, it does not very likely.

(13,297 posts)It sounded like someone who was leaning much more to running than not running. From my perspective, I saw someone who was evaluating if he could be a good president in the Washington DC of today, or if he would have to become something he would not like in order to run a winning campaign or deal with the current folks in power.
I think he is probably also doing some introspection on whether he is doing it for the right reason, and once he nails that down, he'd could very well be all in. If he had Elizabeth Warren at his side, well, that would be pretty spectacular option for this country.

Please run Joe. You're my candidate. Tonight sealed the deal for me.

(22,000 posts)That's going to be a problem after awhile. They have to get a handle on how they use the roughly 40-41 odd minutes he has (not counting commercials). His first show ran over by 5 minutes, but the actual taping took 2 hours. They also had difficulties uploading the show. According to Colbert, the show almost didn't air.

(39,367 posts)Humility, empathy, sincerity. Qualities that are seriously eroding in our culture. Essential qualities. He would be a great leader.
I hope he's up to running. Hillary is a legitimate resume, Bernie is an excellent albeit grim-faced problem describer. They are both serious people, but neither can connect like Joe.
