TYT: Bernie Sanders: DNC's Debates Rigged

"Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) believes the Democratic Party is using its limited primary debate schedule to rig the nomination process.

“I do,” Sanders reportedly responded when asked Friday whether he agrees with former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley’s assertion that the debate system is “rigged.”

The two Democratic presidential candidates were speaking at the summer meeting of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in Minneapolis on Friday.

“This sort of rigged process has never been attempted before,” O’Malley said in his speech earlier Friday.

The DNC has drawn criticism for scheduling only four debates before the early-primary states cast their votes, and six total throughout the election cycle.

DNC spokeswoman Holly Shulman defended the schedule, saying it will “give plenty of opportunity for the candidates to be seen side-by-side.”"

The Internet has the power to set up 50 debates. So you'd have 50 Hillary No Shows

It is time for O'Malley and Bernie to opt out of the DNC debates. Hillary can debate herself.

O'Malley and Bernie can have their own debates and invite Hillary.

If either of these two are going to fight the establishment as President, here is the opportunity to prove it!

also televised counter spokespeople from the opposing party who commented after debates? Or I'm thinking of the annual SOTU address by the President perhaps.

according to those in the Senate. And I saw the attack he made on the DNC. Why should the DNC help him? Perhaps he could approach the INC for help

What democrates has he not been positive towards? What was his reason for being negative toward said democrates? You understand that by running as a democrate, he is doing the DNC and Hillary a favor. If Hillary succeeds in winning the democrate nomination, he will no longer be in the race and won't be potentially drawing away needed votes in the general. Bernie also regularly caucuses with the democrates over the GOP in the Senate.

This is another reason not to vote for HRC in the primaries... Not interested in supporting a candidate who does not seem interested in open debates and a more reasonable debate schedule.

They don't want any more voters to have a sense of familiarity with Sanders on primary day. If people feel familiar only with Clinton, they will likely vote for her rather than some "strange" candidates, even if they don't like most of Clinton's policies.

But the primaries also help get the message out and define the issues for the general election. By limiting progressive candidates exposure, the DNC is setting us up for another 2014 where people won't bother to show up!!!.
