3. Trickle Down Voodo Reaganomics

Cruz forgets, the funk the US economy ran into with deficits and unprecedented military spending. The elder Bush had to raise taxes and the Republicans, in the 90s had to run on making a new contract with Americans of reducing the deficit.

We also had the S&L banking crisis a result of Reagan's deregulation.

4. My 93 yr old mom, who was a Republican for most...

...of her life, saw the light a while back and has become a big liberal. She is also quite a fan of Colbert's in his new gig. She called me late last night to remind me to watch. When she told me who the guest was going to be, I told her I just couldn't make myself do it. Cruz creeps me out, big time.

Won't be watching tonight either, with Trump being on. Blecchhhh
