samantha was the anti-reagan, became a media star, was 'adopted' by hollywood, and was beginning to turn her generation and a lot of their parents against 'star wars', the mx missile, and trillions in future nuke business.
guys like rove, cheney, rumsfeld, krauthammer remember her. krauthammer even referred to her as a communist dupe.
but she was quickly shocked out of our memories

(9,090 posts)reviewer of the crash jj mac mclellan (sp?), who analyzed plane crashes and did that one immediately after as apposed to some wiki editor from koch industries, say he'd never seen such an erratic flight path- he was very baffled by it and couldn't explain it with weather.
a lot of political assassinations happen by plane.
like with wellstone, weather's a great excuse, especially for people looking for excuses that would assuage their shocked sensibilities --- no ct here....
