Our justice system is doing nothing to stop them.

They won't stop until the U.S. is a Theocracy ruled by Theocratic corporations

Separation of Church and State is being ignored.

the faithapologists just need time to do some google-fu and come up with some obscure secular group which hates lefties then pretend the teacher is one of those and just faking the devil-speak to confuse the issue.

Rest assured, despite what religious people claim and demonstrate as their motivation, nothing bad is ever really religiously motivated. Now charity on the other hand is always religiously motivated even, if like at least 3 of the world's top 5 philanthropists, the givers claim to be nonbelievers. That's religiously motivated by family influence or cultural osmosis. But bad stuff? Never.

a lot of kids do learn it. but pounding into 4 yo's who might not be ready is a dumb idea.
just read to them. they really teach themselves when they are ready, and grown ups take the credit.
kids this small should be outside playing. this "accelerated" "education" crap is leading to some very neurotic kids.

It's sad what my former state has become and what public education has become. I'm still a proud lefty in more ways than one!

Frankly, I'm discouraged.

By the way, both of my daughters are left-handed. They excelled academically throughout their education, and they also are better human beings than I was at their ages.

Let's hear it for that Mom!

Her kid may or may not remember her defending him in this instance but she has nevertheless saved him from what could be very serious and even life-long psychological damage that has been suffered by other lefties at the hands of ignorant parents, care-givers or teachers.

As for a public school teacher in 2015 apparently holding the view that the left hand is evil...
