1. Our pathetic responses to survivors of child sexual abuse

are appallingly inadequate, and often inappropriate. We don't address these abuses in meaningful ways, and survivors are routinely treated derisively or dismissively, as though THEY are the problem.

How do I know this? In addition to doing extensive research and graduate work on this very issue, I am a survivor of child sexual assault. (And, to this day--not surprisingly--some members of my family label me a 'seductress' and refuse to hold my abuser responsible for his perversions.)

It's past time to hold child molesters and pedophiles accountable for their perversions.
