I've been spoiled because our local PBS has another channel dedicated to MHz. The news programming will stay, but the fantastic international shows will now be subscription based.

I find the Scandinavian shows so rich in character...well, to tell you the truth, all the programming is like that...quirky, engrossing, intense, you name it!
Beck, Don Matteo, Spiral, Crime Scene Cleaner (only the Germans could do a show like this, LOL!!), Det. Montalbano (!)....
