untrustworthy or she is not trustworthy or not worthy of trust but hey
if you were dumb enough to believe that w & Cheney's war in Iraq was
going to pay for itself and spread democracy through the mid east I
guess grammar might not be a big thing for you.

6. Mr. McCarthy engages in post hoc reasoning
Wed Sep 30, 2015, 01:12 PM
Sep 2015
Poc hoc ergo proctor hoc (After this, therefor because of this) is a well known informal logical fallacy. For example:

We invited Mr. Smith to the picnic three weeks ago, but the picnic was postponed because of rain;
Two weeks ago we tried to hold the picnic again, we invited Mr. Smith, but again it rained;
Last week, we rescheduled the picnic, invited Mr. Smith who had to prior engagement and sent his regrets, and the picnic was held on a perfect day.

Conclusion:
Mr. Smith causes rain.

It makes for a good joke at Mr. Smith's expense, but that's all.

I wonder if Mr. McCarthy would present that case anywhere but FoxNews, whose regular viewers are dumb enough to believe it; but then, they are also dumb enough to believe that Mrs. Clinton actually did something wrong concerning Benghazi.

The fact is that no one to the left of Attila the Hun is paying any attention to the GOP's phony case against Mrs. Clinton. Is she going south in the polls? Yes, but not because of a ginned up scandal. Mrs. Clinton created her own problems and her falling poll numbers have nothing to do with Benghazi or any other dead horse the Republicans continue beating.

Anyone who's been paying attention to the situation and who cares about the facts already knew that the latest investigation committee empanelment was a purely political maneuver, not a serious search for truth.

Anyone who didn't know it already won't be moved by hearing what McCarthy said. They'll interpret it as "We are seriously searching for truth but it just so happens to have the side effect of exposing how bad Clinton is and therefore driving down her poll numbers."

Better commentators than I have pointed out how the right wing now exists inside its own bubble. The standards of those of us in the reality-based community don't matter.

committee meetings against the Democrats and it has happened. Tens of millions of our dollars wasted by the Republicans. Now this is a party who keeps preaching about lower the debt. When will they start?
The latest on Planned Parenthood is so set up and staged, we all know the purpose of the Republicans.

They never accomplished anything with who they trash, in fact, it just makes voters wanting more to defeat them.

Republicans aren't very smart because they always give away what we already knew.

I hope the American public and voters wake up to the LIES of the Republicans and give them the biggest defeat every in 2016.

Another serious issue is climate change and South Florida is flooding often. In fact the Mayor of South Florida said the water level has raised 5 inches in 5 years. The streets were just recently flooded with the full moon. Neither Bush or Rubio will recognize the flooding causes. The Mayor indicted that these politicians are on the take from businesses to disregard climate changes and the flooding.

This is the agenda of the Republicans. Become millionaires at the hands of the nation and people. Disregard any real threats for the lobbyists.

These tactics are pervasive in the GOP. They reek of desperation! (Both they and their tactics)

For instance, here in Florida, the GOP-led legislature could not even agree on a redistricting map as ordered by the State Supreme Court. Here is one instance where the motives behind their dirty tactics were recorded and are now public knowledge.

In the recording Republican Florida State Representative Janet Adkins said the following.

"They’re a part of the population. No, they can’t vote. So when you take a look at, and I don’t know what the numbers are, but you take a look at how many minorities are in the prisons within that newly drawn proposed congressional — how many of them live in the prisons, that’s why Corrine Brown is so against having an east-west, because her concern is that they live in prisons and they can’t vote. So it’s a perfect storm.
"It's a perfect storm, you're now reducing the percentage of minorities within that district and you draw it in such a fashion that perhaps a majority, or maybe not a majority, but a number of them will live in the prisons, thereby not being able to vote. You can actually, Danny, you can be the person that will help get rid of {Rep.} Corrine Brown."

Marriage equality, wealth re-distribution and marijuana legalization are not going to destroy this country; that task is already being completed by Republicans, their donors and their sheeple voters!

They need to feel the Bern next fall!

Also said that Hillary's response, which will be part of her interview with Sharpton on Sunday 8 AM, was too tame...Now wondering if there will even be a hearing in October.....They think Elijah Cummings should be the lead on this, he's a fantastic person to do this!

However, she has to look Presidential...she focused on the loss of her friends and the others....
This and Planned Parenthood...the SAME tactics!!! I'm wondering what this does to McCarthy's chances to be speaker! (my 2 cents))
