but only identified 3 books. Here's what I have:

Forbidden Bookshelf (Mark Crispen Miller) - can be obtained as ebooks from Amazon or used editions available online. MCM's group is republishing them.

The Phoenix Program -- Douglas Valentine, 1990s -- Describes enforcement of the South Vietnamese anti-program, shows how it is used to infringe on human rights now in America. Info from interviewing CIA officers. Book was marginalized. Morley Safir wrote damning review in NYTimes, ruined author's career.

Lords of Creation (1935)-- Frederick Lewis Allen. Predicted the corrupt capitalist system. The history of the 1%.

Blowback -- Christopher Simpson. About censorship of the author who worked as an archivist/ historian. History of U.S. recruitment of Nazis during Cold War.

Putin TV wants to tell us about censorship now? A channel paid for by a dictatorship that is killing the free press in Russia wants to tell us about suppression of books?

guilt by association is a valid point of view.

But since I'm a rational adult with the ability to glean useful facts from propaganda and then decide for myself after due diligence in my research, I don't see it that way.

I bet that tiny box is cozy tho.

Are supposed to believe everything that the MSM prints or broadcast Just because of the source. If you feel this way, (which is a logical conclusion drawn from your previous comments.) Wow, I'm so sorry for you. That is no sarcasm. I truly feel sorry for you. Smart enough to fill out the Paperwork, but lack Critical Thinking and reasoned response.

Putin can't point out the alleged "hypocrisy" of the US on human rights and freedom because he is a disgusting dictator who shits on human rights and freedom.

(New York, NY—June 9, 2014)—Open Road Media announced today Forbidden Bookshelf, a series of books curated by Professor Mark Crispin Miller of New York University. Forbidden Bookshelf titles fill in the blanks of America’s repressed history by resurrecting books that focused on issues and events that are too often left in the dark, including abortion, organized crime, the CIA, and financial inequality.

The series launches on June 10 with five books: Blowback: America’s Recruitment of Nazis and Its Destructive Impact on Our Domestic and Foreign Policy by Christopher Simpson, The Phoenix Program: America’s Use of Terror in Vietnam by Douglas Valentine, The Search for an Abortionist: The Classic Study of How American Women Coped with Unwanted Pregnancy Before Roe v. Wade by Nancy Howell Lee, Interference: How Organized Crime Influences Professional Football by Dan E. Moldea, and The Lords of Creation: The History of America’s 1 Percent by Frederick Lewis Allen. Each of the first four titles includes a new introduction

1) Blowback: America’s Recruitment of Nazis and Its Destructive Impact on Our Domestic and Foreign Policy by Christopher Simpson,

2) The Phoenix Program: America’s Use of Terror in Vietnam by Douglas Valentine,

3) The Search for an Abortionist: The Classic Study of How American Women Coped with Unwanted Pregnancy Before Roe v. Wade by Nancy Howell Lee,

4) Interference: How Organized Crime Influences Professional Football by Dan E. Moldea, and

The first book rekindled my hatred of those on the left who have become fascist in their views regarding ubiquitous spying and clamping down on whistle-blowers. (Which incidentally hampers investigative journalism.)

I still wonder if those people were always fascists at heart; right-wing conformists who happen to be in the wrong party - and are just waiting for their leader to tell them what to believe?

And don't attack the messenger dammit. That's what the right did every time Michael Moore came out with something they didn't like. Attack the messenger when it's warranted and the message when it's wrong. Otherwise stick with TMZ.
