Ted Cruz Brags About Destroying GOP; His Followers Love It

Senator Ted Cruz is making the rounds in Iowa, touting his role in helping to push the Republican to the right. Cruz, who is not a member of the House of Representatives, is taking credit for the House Freedom Caucus forcing John Boehner from his Speaker position.

Cruz meets with the Freedom Caucus every month to give them direction, and his taking credit for Boehner’s resignation is not unfounded. The consensus is that Cruz is calling the shots in the House, and that’s a terrible thing for our democracy.
