Here im the US, a dialysis patient lasts about 5 years. The for-profit dialysis centers crank up the machines to minimize the time a patient is on the machine and it destroys their heart. In Europe patients can be on dialysis for decades because they don't crank up the machines.

Without which it would have been impossible to get a good picture of what she really went through; but something our beloved mainstream media is very unlikely to ever mention. Thank you for letting us know.

Happy New Year as well, Geronimoe. Best wishes for 2016.

In the KansDem household, we listen to jazz during "cocktail hour," or that time when we have drinks prior to a special dinner or a barbecue. Nat King Cole and daughter Natalie have become regular "must-listen-tos" for several years now.

Natalie's dad passed away in 1965 when Natalie was only 15 years old. As to my knowledge, they never recorded together. But with technology, this recording provides us with a duet of dad and daughter and Natalie could hear herself sing with her dad.

I imagine Nat would have been very proud of his daughter.
