[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]Thank goodness! I really hate to broad-brush any group of people, but today's Republicans personify most of what I consider to be evil in this world.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]I'm not even surprised anymore at their obvious contempt for humanity and decency.

They pander to certain groups just gain political power, then they serve their true masters, the ruling mega-wealthy and their own wealth accumulation, which are all they really care about. That's why they're so keen to privatize everything - there's money to be made from the suffering of others, after all.

this country could give a shit ...

Cause republicans can do or say wtf stupid ass thing they want because democrats are too busy hiding from their own shadows to call them out on it/the media will sluff it of as "those wacky republicans."

Meanwhile, republicans will scream their heads off over whatever non sensical bullshit they get behind, the media will put a mic in front of and turn up the volume and hit replay until the button breaks.

BENGAZI!

If it hasnt been done already, remake the Lucy holding the football encouraging Charlie Brown to kick it scene something like this: Lucy is our congress, Charlie Brown is the taxpayer. Observing the inevitable con-job are Sally and Peppermint Patty. Sally says to Patty, "Doesn't he know by now that she doesn't represent his wishes?" Patty's response should be something like; "I guess not, Chuck takes it in the shorts every single time!"

The reference here is one meant not to be lost on our friends who vote conservative, that "our" representatives do not represent our wishes-that they instead knowingly waste our tax dollars.

The amount of money wasted by congress to overturn the A.C.A. is utterly absurd! Those spending it know that the only result is in conning those who keep voting for them. Just as Charlie Brown is being played for a sucker the voter is being played too.

of Corporations. Of course they don't want this, and the GOP would say, yes to throwing those bums out of hospitals cause they were poor and sick. No one wants poor sick people to hang around hospitals begging for health care. Let them get it out in the streets... or better yet, let them go to the Churches and let their Ministries pray for better health. Everyone knows hospitals should be for the well off.. the wealthy upper 1%!!

Maybe they should reveal their plans for these DEATH PANELS they are always talking about. If it weren't for DEMOCRATS, THE STREETS WOULD BE LINED WITH POOR, DEAD PEOPLE.

Meh.

why take away insurance from over 16 million people Paul Ryan, WHY? Fix those areas that need tweeted. Republicans prefer to take away from the people, not help them. Now if they were all millionaires they would get instant relief.

18. GOP Asks President To Take Away Health Care Coverage For 17.6 Million, Replace It With Nothing

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/01/06/1466641/-GOP-Asks-President-To-Take-Away-Health-Care-Coverage-For-17-6-Million-Replace-It-With-Nothing

The Affordable Care Act now provides an estimated 17.6 Million Americans with health insurance and health care coverage, according to the Department of Health and Human Services (figures as of September 2015). What the Republicans would do for those 17.6 million people once their insurance was taken away from them has never been made clear, either because they have no idea or because they simply don’t care:

There is currently no GOP alternative to Obamacare. Asked why Republicans went ahead with this repeal bill without first putting forward an alternative, Ryan told reporters "just wait."

“Just wait.” If the American people had waited for the Republican Party, 18% of the entire US population would still be uninsured. That number has dropped to 11.9% thanks to this law the GOP wants the President to eliminate. Apparently Republicans think it’s a great idea to have as many Americans as possible going through their lives without any health insurance:

Ryan hedged when asked whether the House will ever vote on a replacement to Obamacare. Ryan has pledged that the House will come up with its own plan this year — something the GOP has repeatedly promised but failed to do in the nearly six years since the law's enactment. He said details such as whether it will actually come to a vote have not been determined.

"Nothing's been decided yet," Ryan said
