What I noticed was what was lacking. I didn't hear enough specifics of the proposal. I did learn that the President is saying he's very concerned with gun violence.

Audience members were there by invitation only. I can't imagine the President's people didn't help in the selection process and probably even know what kind of toilet paper these people buy. I doubt if he was 'annoyed'....he could have chosen not to attend. I think you're reading a lot into this.

Give me a list of the specifics of the EO. I heard nothing. Who has to be licensed for selling guns? Wellness checks for mental illness? What?

I was surprised to hear the President say, folks buy guns on the internet without background checks. Is that true? I find that difficult to believe.
