I hesitate to laugh at these people because there are legitimate complaints about how police conduct themselves and routinely violate rights.

But these people...

I do not consent. I'm not driving. I'm not a resident. I'm not here....

They remind me of that Bert character on Soap. I'm invisible!!

5. What is it they say? "I'm not driving, I'm traveling".

What does that even mean? I'm sure that in their minds it means something, but what?

8. It's a legal loophole from a misinterpretation of the law....

They claim "free people" have a right to travel on the roads which are provided by their 'servants' (They consider the cops pulling them over to be their servants too) by whatever the common means of transportation happens to exist at the time.

It used to be by horse and now it's by car.

Bottom line, they feel once all of this is said the cop will say, "Oh yeah, you're right. You're not driving, you're 'traveling' and I have no right to restrict you from doing so, at any speed you want."

11. And I suppose that they're "piloting" the car as they travel, since they're not "driving" it.

Also, you can't "travel" to and from work.

Anything related to commerce.

(Even filling the tank.)
