It's an incredible performance I probably watched 100 times and will make this 101.

(3,433 posts)1. Great memory.
My heart is sick today. I was so hoping to see him live one more time. I know its selfish as I'm sure he and his family would have loved that too but I feel such a loss. I have loved Bowie since I was 8 years old.

(21,737 posts)6. I have the VHS and DVD of the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. . .
and he also did "All the Young Dudes" playing the saxophone with the old Mott the Hoople gang (Mick Ronson, Ian Hunter):
He also did "Heroes"
and at the end, speaking about AIDS, Freddie, and a friend of his who was also dying of the disease, he got down on one knee and recited The Lord's Prayer. When finished, he said "Thank you. God Bless Queen!!"
