(26,248 posts)That Ritz-cracker guy does the same thing. Do they not have houses? Maybe a nicely decorated 'man-cave'?
I'd be more than a little concerned if I walked past that guys vehicle, to see him sitting there talking to himself for such an extended period of time.

Sorry, I couldn't watch it. Too deep for me.
because I've been at DU long enough to know that if you don't post it, you just might be taken seriously.

(11,175 posts)He announced himself to be in sympathy with the general "militia" movement, though he cautioned against using that term because people react negatively. With regard to the Bundy Bunch, his main points were:
* They said they were taking over the refuge and planned to stay as long as necessary, but they hadn't planned ahead by bringing in provisions.
* An action should have a definite objective and the group should have a plan for reaching that objective. The Bundy Bunch didn't.
* PR (press conferences, etc.) must also be planned in advance and managed for maximum effect.
* Don't wear camo when you don't need to.
OK, nothing monumentally profound -- pretty much common sense, in fact -- but, as he points out (while trying not to dump on the Bundys too hard), such common sense was lacing in this instance.
