you have no place in our government. You can own your religion but you can't force it on everyone else, if you can't accept that, you aren't psychologically or philosophically fit to hold office in this country... but I'm guessing those words/terms are just too big to fit in your tiny, monosyllabic vocabulary.

about the happy little organization known as the family.

Because according to them, it doesn't matter how many people you've killed or how odious you are, if you are rich then you are one of God's select. Or elect. Or whatever. It's the modern version of might makes right.

Remember when the author of those exposes on the family was on Bill Maher and Maher was rendered speechless? I still remember that. Maher didn't know what to say. Literally.

That was back before MSNBC became the The Trump Channel.

I read about half the book. The Family's bullshit rationalization doesn't surprise me. What surprises me is how any poor schmuck can listen to their shit and STILL believe in their god.

I gotta say, that conservative Christians really don't like it when you "bonk" them with Bible verses that contradict their version of morality.

At least that's what I've discovered on Facebook.

Christianity is a faith, not a tradition; it's owned by anyone who wishes to believe, accept, and practice it. He mocks it by treating it as a commodity to be exploited.

I think he needs a re-education, and maybe, to examine the basis of his faith, if he has any.

12. Hey, Brat.......................I'm going to lay this at your "Christian" feet of hypocrisy ........
Thu Jan 14, 2016, 03:23 PM
Jan 2016

and I don't care if its fair to do it or not, because it just shows what the past has done and what it is being presented today.................let me give you a head's up on your re-education of "people", there is an entire country of people that is and are really tired of re-education process and look at where they are now, this microcosm of this country from the past just shows the mentality of this culture in so many ways today.

Were going to step outside the box of this discussion on this topic Brat....................so follow along if you can, if your not so blinded by your right wing logic and if you come onto this thread.

Why don't "YOU" and your ilk first of all apologize for what the "Christian Europeans" did to the Indigenous People of this country and there genocide-------------you know that little finicky thing where colonial - setters would ship Indigenous people's children to be re-educated in the ways of the Christian world after they pillaged and lied about everything else.

Here's a prime example of this process from yesterday being played out today in the logic .......................

For example, when the Indigenous children were sent back, to let's say to the Christian Pennsylvania area and there infamous "schools" for re-education back East, if the Indigenous Children didn't conform, they were subjected to beatings, you know having the living crap beat out of you. Why may you ask-------------good question---------simple -------------------because they didn't like the Christian Bible thumping teachings, they were taught the value of and the meaning of pride for oneself and the tribe and the land.

But the ones that came out of these "schools" would do the same thing that the "Christian" handlers did and taught them, they started beating there own children------------do you see a pattern here from yesterday to the present Brat, just try to put two and two together on what is happening in this country has we speak.

Let, me give you some facts---------- Brat, in the culture of the Indigenous People, they/we do not or did not prior to be placed in the re-educated process of the Christian schools back in the day, did the Indigenous People, they did not hit there children---------------there was reason for that and the reason was not to the perpetuating of a continued violence in the tribe, to have a break down in the the core values.

But Brat, while at the same time your "Christian" values were raping the lands and doing other nefarious things like breaking treaties under the guise of a "Christian" valued society at all costs, beating the children, it was the Christian way.

And then you said this Brat....................this really is sick and twisted........................

"If you lose the moral argument, you'll lose the policy argument every time," he said. "We need to regain the moral argument where we're so strong."

Your "Christian" logic of this, is being played out everyday in this present culture, look no further than in Oregon and in the Grand Canyon Region, Nevada and in other places ---------------and yes----------------- you sure do own your Christianity-----------your Christianity is nothing more than genocide in my opinion, and the continuation of greed--------------from as far back from yesterday until the present------------------all of it is, it is someone in empty suit----------------you have no respect to values in my opinion---------------none

What we really need is to find a way to eradicate the ignorance that allows people like this asshole to get voted into high office when instead we should be laughing him under a rock.

Some of the nicest people are those who are never in church, while some of the meanest are in church every Sunday. We have that here were I live - some of the nasty old pieces of work who love to shout their racism, homophobia, religious bigotry, and so on never miss Mass on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. Meanwhile if challenged they start in on how holy they are, how they'll always in church or how they belong to the reich to life.

Read the bible. That's just exactly what Jesus said. "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the father..."

Is that a tradition worth keeping?
