TYT: Debbie Wasserman-Schultz Interview With The Young Turks At The Democratic Debate

Last edited Mon Jan 18, 2016, 03:53 PM - Edit history (1)

John Iadarola (ThinkTank & The Young Turks) speaks with Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) from the NBC News / YouTube Democratic Debate in South Carolina. Among other questions, John asks Rep. Wasserman-Schultz about the scheduling of the Democratic debates.

#0 sez: "There are some people in the comments below criticizing the 'softball' questions. My theory is TYT did what they had to to get this interview. Don't be surprised if they do an in-depth analysis of this interview on today's show where they pick her apart bone by bone."

I turned it off as soon as she opened her mouth. I knew I shouldn't have even hit play.

You can always tell when DWS is spewing bullshit because her mouth is moving. I'd rather listen to GWB pronounce "nuclear" and "terrorists" than listen to her bullshit.

about as far as I can throw my house.

Did you see her last night, at the end? She was all over Hillary, sticking to her like a hurt puppy. It was sickening.

She's just being set up to recite her talking points.. How cutting the Democratic debates from 28 to 6 and hiding them on dates where they know the least amount of people will be watching makes so much sense for everyone when there's little doubt she's in the tank for Hillary...

He he didn't even ask her about denying the Sanders campaign from accessing their voter files and the pending lawsuit...

Conditional interview? No questions about the Lawsuit, about Bernie, about working for Hillary. I thought the interviewer did a pretty good job in the way he touched on the issues that Sanders Supporters want to hear. DWS is just DWS.......

Her answer as to why it is a great idea to limit the Democratic party's access to the numbers the Republicans are getting by scheduling more debates didn't even make sense...So taking advantage of dates when more people would be available to watch is a bad idea because the Republican clown show isn't taking advantage of the exposure and alienating voters???

Not exactly a vote of confidence for the Dem candidates.. The suggestion is the more audience exposure the Democratic candidates and their views have the less impact they'll have on the voters?????

The only logical reason I can think of is it's in Clinton's best interest to limit exposure because at the time of scheduling she was the overwhelming front runner and the Dem establishment wants to limit Sander's populist call for a political revolution...

The interviewer was likable and comfortable on camera but how did this interview differ from an NBC or CNN interview?

Cenk and Wasserman Shultz had some contentious interviews/discussions in the past. I think after one of them she never returned to the show. It would be my guess, she would decline an interview with TYT if Cenk was doing the questioning.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, you really should resign from your DNC position before the convention, and in some ways I understand that you are having some problems with the man that is running against you -----------------a progressive Democrat, and not a DINO, you are being challenged for a reason--------------------like one voting for TPP--------------

https://newrepublic.com/article/127500/debbie-wasserman-schultzs-challenger-chance

The networks, Schultz, will, if asked, they have to give the air time to have debates, the networks do not own the airwaves, we the people own the air waves, we let them you use them under the guise that when we want something to be held, like the president holding a national speech you know like going to war, we get to hear it, not some bean counter worried about revenue stream.

They should give him the format, but sometimes greed is more important -----------------like having a debate, on lets say a Wednesday, they have to accommodate that action, so to say that the networks have to move there programming around, sounds so plastic on it's face, this is a democracy this is not some game show for ratings or how to keep the status quo for corporate greed--------------its doesn't work that way, it has for many years and corporations and the lackey's have been getting away with it for quite some time now with this pseudo gimmick of what is perceived as a democracy in action , but not this election cycle---------------------------its a political revolution

Just maybe Wasserman -Schultz you should understand what this means in my humble opinion-------------------------

"Democracy begins with you---------------------------tag your it" ----------------Bernie Sanders said this to Thom Hartmann-------and it really does mean what it says.........................

Honk-----------------------for a political revolution Bernie 2016

It is about getting a Progressive President, U.S. Supreme Court, Congress, and State and Local Legislature
