I have no clue why federal marshals have not cut off their supply lines. It boggles the mind! Anybody know why?

2. I am not sure if this is the real reason

but I remember someone here on DU stating that one reason not to shut down the water and electricity is that it may lead to things like frozen pipes and other facilities damage that would be costly to fix later.

Could be I suppose but I would have to think that a protracted standoff would become more expensive than repairs at some point.

I think it may be more likely that the Feds don't want to be seen as provoking the situation and uncorking violence they will be blamed for in right wing media.

Right now these terrorist look pretty goofy when they resort to finding a utility pole with cameras on it and making a huge show of stealing and damaging property that does not belong to them.

All of that being said it is only a guess and I wish that law enforcement would be more uniform in how they handle conflict. I don't like that these guys are getting a pass that would not be extended to just about any other group.

3. Here in Oregon many of us are wondering the same thing.

I understand Bundy Senior is still grazing cattle on public land in Nevada with impunity. The Obama Administration has gone soft on white terrorism/vandalism.

5. A quick look at their skin is telling...

…if they were anything but white, they'd be injured or dead (more likely) by now.

White people armed with anything from knives to cars to guns are not typically subjected to the shoot-to-kill first, ask questions later tactic.

And, BTW, those people are not a "militia" ("a military force that is raised from the civil population to supplement a regular army in an emergency&quot , they are criminals breaking the law. I wish the media would call them what they are.
