That is the difference, as to the ads, and that is pretty much what Sam Seder and his cohort say.

In my opinion, Clinton's ad has too much of her in it--very typical of political ads, and why people are so sick of them. It also attempts to absorb the power of the White House and the power of the military into her persona. It is a projection of personal power; whereas Sanders' ad projects the power of the people and, in a quite natural way (via that lovely song), associates peoples' lives and work and aspirations with Sanders. Clinton's ad seems artificial. Sanders' ad doesn't. Clinton's ad is almost painful to watch, it is so self-absorbed. Sanders' ad is a pleasure to watch. I liked seeing all those folks and was very interested in what they were doing, and also in the awesome crowds that he has attracted and energized.

Clinton's ad is hard. Sander's ad is radiant!

So much for the ads themselves. They are quite interesting, as illustrations of their candidates. But ads are just ads. Sanders has a far cleverer ad-maker. I was worried about something Clinton said in the ad. She said she wants to "defend" Social Security. That's not what she should be saying. She should be saying, a) we're going to expand Social Security and brings its benefits into the 21st century, and b) we're going to elect a Congress that does that, and more.

The Pukes and their Corporate Media have got us running scared, and Clinton seems to be playing to that fear.

How dare they try to loot the retirement insurance that we all pay into, all of our working lives?! How dare they CUT Social Security benefits, and dig out more Medicare funds from Social Security checks, when Social Security checks aren't enough for the elderly to live on NOW?!

We don't need a defender of Social Security. We need an ADVOCATE of Social Security. We don't need a defender of private health insurance. We need an ADVOCATE of public health insurance for all.

This is the substantive difference between Clinton and Sanders. She may do what she can for us, that doesn't offend her donors. That's giving her the benefit of the doubt. Sanders, on the other hand, will ASK US to help him create a revolution on this and other issues--the revolution being that the people come first. We are the sovereigns of this country. Not him. Not Clinton. Not Obama. Not Trump. Nor any of the other aspirants, nor any of the Oligarchs. WE make this long overdue revolution; We insist on a representative Congress that actually does the business of the People; WE get them elected; WE insist that they work with president TO DO OUR WILL.

We don't need a Daddy or a Mommy. We don't need a defender. We need to stand up and be adults and exert our rightful power as citizens. And we need a president and other elected officials who believe in US.

As you say, and many others have, Hillary wants to be president, Bernie wants to help the country. Big difference there.

Go Bernie Go!
