TYT: The INSANE Reason Marco Rubio Bought A Gun On Christmas

Marco Rubio recently appeared on CBS’s Face The Nation. He was asked about a gun he bought on Christmas Eve. To protect his family from ISIS. Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (ThinkTank), and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show Podcast), hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

"Presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said that he bought a gun on Christmas Eve and will use it to protect his family — and America — against ISIS.
“I’m a strong supporter of the second amendment. I have a right to protect my family if someone were to come after us,” Rubio said on Face the Nation. “In fact, if ISIS were to visit us, or our communities, at any moment, the last line of defense between ISIS and my family is the ability that I have to protect my family from them, or from a criminal, or anyone else who seeks to do us harm. Millions of Americans feel that way.”

Rubio’s comments mirror the notion, pushed relentlessly by the NRA, that only a “good guy with a gun” can prevent mass shooting. There is no evidence, however, that armed civilians are effective in stopping active shootings, whether they are perpetrated from jihadists or right-wing extremists.”*

He admits that. So his wife is going to use the gun to protect the family? And if he already has a gun, why does he need another? Can he or she shoot two guns at once?

Why can't politicians ever just tell the truth. The people (well some of us) just aren't that stupid.
