The media is telling us that Bernie Sanders plan for a single payer healthcare option is unattainable, but the facts of the case say otherwise. These naysayers clearly have something to gain by downplaying a plan that most Americans support.
Ring of Fires Farron Cousins discusses this.

...rather than COSTING a dime.
Single Payer will take us from spending 18% of GDP to spending 12-13% of GDP
while also:
1. covering everyone,
2. eliminating premiums
3. eliminating copays
4. eliminating deductibles
How? By eliminating the ZERO value-add of the "middleman" insurance industry
AND all the red-tape they cause to providers (like needing 2 billing people for every doctor).

From Bernie's FB:
Its time to join every other major nation and guarantee health care to all as a right, not a privilege. That's why my #MedicareForAll plan provides health care to ALL Americans, including the 50 million uninsured or Underinsuredthe only plan that does that.
Medicare-for-All means no more copays, no more deductibles and no more fighting with insurance companies when they fail to pay for charges. Which means a family making $50,000 would save $5,807 a year under my #MedicareForAll plan.
NOTE: the $5807 savings if the difference between the new tax, and the elimination of premiums/copays/deductibles. And these numbers are from an outside source, not pulled out of anyone's nether-regions.
