...but they cancelled the rally, which stoked anger and basically turned the crowd feral. Then, they let the pissed-off mob leave and walk straight into another mob of anti-Trump protesters?

Is that what happened tonight?

I'm looking at all of this I'm thinking this looks like some kind of set up. How could anyone be so stupid, to think that cancelling a rally and allowing a mob of angry people to leave TOGETHER would be a good thing.

And for once...where were the police? I saw the police on the stage at the end, but there seemed to be no police presence there, which allowed everyone to sort of organically be as rabid as they wanted.

I don't get this.

Who are They®? The authors of a fucked up nation, the defenders of a massively profitable status quo.

This could escalate into the kind of thing we witnessed in 1968.

Of course the left leaning group will be portrayed as the bad guys in the media.

Trump has openly attacked minorities and advocated torture. We don't have to guess where his head is.

I won't even look for the video of this idiot CNN "reporting" woman who immediately placed blame. They are now FOX.

Holding up signs, chanting "Love trumps hate" is not violence. It is non-violence.

SmartPhones are like an electronic pacifier. If something crazy is going down out come the phonecams. There is a calming effect as hundreds of people just phonecam check out from their own presence by one notch.

They could have ignored Trump but they gave the lunatic a voice and now it's tearing the country in half.

This is not like a frat party or just a lot of people aimlessly milling around. It's an arena filled with rags and kindling soaked in gasoline waiting for a match.

There is so much volatile energy in the public right now, waiting for a release. Some of that energy is negative, some of it is positive. And we're still several months away from the general election. It's a little disturbing, a little hopeful, and potentially, very dangerous.

I am astonished that so many of the media pundits, and so many of the Hillary Clinton supporters, can be so politically tone deaf as to think that the continuation of big money establishment politics is a viable way forward.

About an hour ago. Didn't catch her name but it was "Bernie supporters"
trampling Drumfs 1st amendment rights...
Why hasn't Bernie denounced blah blah...
From what I could gather, Bernie neglecting to say
"No one protest at a Drumf rally."
was orders of magnitude worse than
Der leader spewing "Get 'em out" or "I'd like to punch them in the face"etc.

Cooler heads prevailed and think this speaks well of the people of Chicago.

So this is what happens when Mr Big shot says he can't make a speech? Imagine what will happen when he loses the white house.

I am so disappointed in humanity. This was quite sickening.
