M: "Who does Bernie Sanders answer to, with all the money that's he's getting?"
J: "A bird"
M: "the people"
J: "That's about it - a bird and the people"

Right on Joe! Keep up the good work!

We out here with our 546 delegates to the national convention are not an afterthought. We are fighting to the end.

It ain't over till the fat lady sings.

And that fat lady is California.

California, here Bernie comes.

End of cliches, but I think everyone understands me.

7. Thank YOU! Try to phonebank and organize too!

10. I plan to walk my precinct and table. I want to register voters and talk to voters

personally. I have done that in many elections and I feel very comfortable with that method of campaigning. I think that is what is needed in my area of the city.

I have also been phonebanking but not on my home phone.

I did the same here in WA, walked my precinct talking to neighbors and leaving caucus info (using a campaign generated walk-list). I did follow-up calls, and invited people over for a Bernie Neighbors open house 2-days before the caucus. Similar to what I did in '08 for Obama.

Our precinct did end up going 3:1 for Bernie, and that felt damn good!

I've also done some phone-banking, but will be doing more since our caucus is behind us.

You are right that nothing tops talking face to face with people.

And all they know is the group think that they regurgitate among themselves.
I haven't felt this mislead by the media since the run up to the Iraq invasion.
They are so much a part of the problem yet they don't see it.

Can seemingly intelligent people really be this clueless about what's behind Bernie's appeal and fundraising success? They literally spent minutes pondering what could possibly be the cause, as if machine politics and the corporatist neocons it has forced upon us are cosmic constants, part of the rules that run our universe.

The other possibility is that they're terrified to recognize the truth on air, for fear of losing their privileged positions on the cable news gravy train. When Mika the sock puppet asked and then answered her own question, "Who does Bernie Sanders answer to, with all the money he's getting? The people," there was some very uncomfortable body language around the table.

That defines so much of what is going. They might only have a vague dim realization that perhaps you dont need a master to make the calls for you. When someone shows that perhaps it is possible to work for the community without abdicating all choice and reason to some corporate power structure, they feel like he is walking on water.
These guys only vaguely remember what free life is like and deviating from the official line scares them into constant aversion. The bulk of their personal choices would have to be revised if they were ever to come around to a more liberated view of life.

Haven't spoken conversational Spanish in awhile, but I think I can get through it. Looking forward to it.
