.... points out that a marxist is a marxist is engaged in some sort of smear campaign? Sorry, but pointing out that a self professed marxist is a marxist isn't mcarthyism.

If you want to persuade others to actually take such a critique serriously, you might want to avoid gratuitous name calling, such as "mcarthyism" and "gangster". It gives the impression that you don't have anything genuinely thoughtful to say.

..... even if they pretend gratuitous name-calling is the deterrent. But Richard Wolff's radio program is expanding rapidly, his speaking engagements are in high demand, and he's making lots of TV appearances lately, so apparently lots of people are taking the critique seriously.
