(24,010 posts)I was reading about this but can't recall where or in what thread here. It's been about 180 days since she gave a press conference. I also read that (according to aides) she doesn't hold rallies because "she feels uncomfortable" in that kind of event, and prefers intimate little "town halls" and she doesn't hold press conferences for the same reason--she "feels uncomfortable" with the format.
The "leader of the free world," if she makes there, will have to be treated like one of the those ancient kings whose feet could never be allowed to touch the ground. Too delicate for words.
And there's Bernie Sanders out there dropping into a diner and chatting with the locals while he munches tacos, dropping into an "In 'n' Out Burger," body surfing in the Pacific, having dozens, possibly hundreds, of interviews with local media, speaking to crowd after crowd numbering in the tens of thousands, and thoroughly mixing it up with the people and the press! I love how he always introduces local people at his rallies like he knew them all his life. He obviously gets "into" people quickly, instantly understands their gig, often mentions local issues and is obviously having a wonderful time learning about the people and concerns of all the regions he is traveling in.
Why can't we have HIM as president? Loves people. Comfortable in any venue. Will speak to anyone, anywhere. Handles the press brilliantly to remain on the issues. Has boundless energy and curiosity.
Clinton has a closed in, Nixonian personality. Pinched. Bound in by fears and discomforts. Secretive; afraid of being challenged.
Gawd. What a bore she is, and what a predictable disaster.

(497 posts)Nominee of the Democratic Party, as Clinton is going to crash and burn in the rubble of her phone "mistake". 4. Bernie will begin the healing of America and her policies. This is my Big Hope. My fingers are crossed, and he is on my mind all the time.
