(25,442 posts)shut up for a second? Wish those jackasses weren't invited to the show, it just wastes time.

However, yes, this guy is annoying as hell. I sincerely hope he's never invited back unless he's wearing a choke chain or shock collar.

(182,724 posts)Moore has been a regular guest of Maher's for a long time. He is an idiot who, parrots the latest RW nonsense regardless of how ludicrous it is. He was on Real Time during the W years proposing that torture was okay because they did it on the TV show "24" which was one of the talking points RW world thought made sense.
Product of George Mason Economics which is way out there.

(820 posts)Businesses are run with a profit motive. The purpose of government is to establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty as it says in the Constitution. Where does it say "for profit?" Mr. Khan's point must be reiterated: Trump and his supporters do not understand the Constitution.
Public servants in government work for the whole of the country. Trump has worked to enrich himself and only himself.
Keep digging Donald. The hole you are in goes much, much deeper.

I had to mute much of the panel discussion though. That repuke guy was just too overbearing.

(4,113 posts)Most of these clowns know nothing about everything and they always try to yell over their panel colleagues when they're trying to make their point.
Moore's comments were just parroted from Faux Snooze or some RW hate radio show he listens to.
He sits there and rips Clinton for her ties with big business while he works for the Wall Street Urinal. Who do they speak for?

I expected Bill to toss him. He admitted screwing up the panel and lost control of his own show, until he slammed both hands hard on the desk.
NEVER have Moore on ever again!

(2,479 posts)I don't know why Democrats work from the angle of trying to convince people like Steve Moore, that the Economy is good. Instead, they should answer "Whatever is wrong with this economy is a result of nearly 400 filibusters by Republicans. Democrats have literally submitted hundreds of bills to fix the economy, that Republicans stopped, just as Mitch McConnell said, to make Obama's a failed presidency." "To whatever degree the economy is failing, however much poverty there remains, is directly the cause of Republican inaction."
You can't well defend the economy, and comparing it to its worst point, 2008, is nearly moronic--a statistical bamboozle. Yes, we've made mild gains, and certainly it has improved from the "Great Recession" as it is called. But weaknesses still abound. We've got manufacturing still leaving, and robotics are coming at us at breakneck speed, we need to deal with.
A new paradigm is needed--a UBI (universal basic income).
Edited: for some reason I thought that guy was Forbes. Oops!

(8,282 posts)show last night. Thanks for sharing that full length video. I haven't seen the full show in over a year and really appreciate that you had all of that without commercials and nonsense. I wanted to smack that guy through the tv too.
STFU already. OMG, I can't believe how much he babbled while everyone spoke. STFU.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Bill was on fire last night.
