'What Do You Have to Lose' Donald Trump Remix of Stevie Wonder 'You Haven’t Done Nothin'
Stevie Wonder Releases Brilliant ‘Anti-Trump Anthem’ In Time For 2016 Election
In 1974, music legend Stevie Wonder released the track “You Haven’t Done Nothin’.” The song was charged with criticism for then-president Richard Nixon.
Nixon, the poster boy for political corruption, not only pulled off the Watergate Scandal, but he also created the war on drugs. Nixon’s domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman confirmed to Harper’s Magazine that the war on drugs was designed to target African Americans and hippies.
Despite Wonder’s song being 42 years old, it is just as relatable to today’s political atmosphere as it was 40 years ago. Because of that, a genius has taken the hit and remixed it to directly apply it to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
In what will surely be considered the election anthem of 2016, someone mashed sound bites of Donald Trump, President Barack Obama, and first lady Michelle Obama, highlighting just how much the song relates to this election. Background vocals include singers singing, “Donald Trump, you haven’t done nothin’… …sick and tired.” Some of the bites also include Trump theorizing President Obama was from Kenya, Africa, asking the black community what the hell they had to lose, insulting their communities, and President Obama calling on voters to honor his legacy by voting to keep Trump out of the White House.

Edit to add that instrument he is playing is called a "harpejji". I had to look up what the heck it is and it is pretty amazing! Recently invented within the past 10 years and he uses it alot now.
