1. And that is why

we must do everything we can to insure we have a Democratic majority in the Senate. We will probably not be able to change the house yet, but we have a chance to have a Democratic majority in the Senate. That would make it possible to amend the rules to allow a simple majority to confirm cabinet and Supreme Court positions. President Obama tried too hard to work with the opposition during the 2 years he had a majority in both houses of Congress. He thought (incorrectly it seems) that because the country was in such dire economic straits when he took over (thanks to the previous Republican administration) that the Republicans would want to assist in saving us from that precipice. Instead we all know they obstructed him at every turn. Hillary will not make that mistake, IMO.

3. Trump may help us take Congress, House and Senate.

At this point, we have to wait and see, of course, but indication are more favorable than expected. GOTV is what matters, we have the numbers to do it.
