4. Indeed. It's great to see Bernie moving forward without skipping a beat.

His new position as the Democratic chair for the outreach committee seems like a perfect fit for Sanders. I'm excited to see how this evolves in the months to come.

An intensive 50 state grass roots outreach campaign is aimed at expanding the Democratic base and helping them become actively involved at the local level.

This is where the Republican party is really kicking our butt. They have been well organized at the local level for many decades now. Gerrymandering and other voter voter suppression efforts have been effectively implemented by the GOP at the local and state level as a method for the GOP to seize control even while the Republican parties overall popularity is in decline.

This is the main reason the Republican party remains so strong when it clearly unpopular with the majority of the American people. Bernie wants to take on the this well entrenched power structure and give ordinary citizens the tools, education, and support they need to organize from the ground up.

Thank you for watching!

The interviews are great! I love seeing you on all the talk shows etc., now that I understand what your role is - out reach lead. GREAT!

Bring this into rally's Bernie. Fire people up with action.

This is the kind of thing Democrats need to start winning back seats at all levels of government.

Bernie doesn't seem to be slowing down one iota. And that's awesome!

I am very glad to learn it is an official role that he is leadership-outreach.

Rally's Bernie - Rally's! That will turn around things around.

9. Yes! I was surprised to see Senator Chuck Schumer saying something very similar as well:

Chuck Schumer Is All In On Bernie Sanders’ Democratic Party

“Bernie convinced me of this. Bernie asked me to do it, to organize it,” Schumer said, adding that he agrees with Sanders’ idea that the DNC needs to become more of an activist and organizing operation.

“So when we’re pushing for a strong college bill on the floor, there are hundreds of thousands of people on campuses across the country emailing, and tweeting and calling and protesting. And when we do minimum wage, there should be minimum wage workers all over the country pushing for that,” Schumer said. “That’s what Bernie wants to do with the DNC, and I completely agree.”
