skip the event for you. At least on my idiot Dish setup it would have bypassed his show as the listing didn't match the normally scheduled programming. I had to restore it manually, so I probably would have missed it as another show played on.

Bernie Sanders appears at Kenosha town hall
Mary Spicuzza , Milwaukee Journal Sentinel 2:54 p.m. CST December 12, 2016

U.S Sen Bernie Sanders is in Kenosha Monday for a televised town hall meeting.

The Democratic senator from Vermont, who ran for president but lost the nomination to Hillary Clinton, is at United Auto Workers Local 72 Hall in Kenosha.

Sanders is appearing at the event with MSNBC's Chris Hayes.

They are talking about why Wisconsin voters backed Republican president-elect Donald Trump. It was the first time Wisconsin backed a GOP presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Sanders said he believes many middle class voters are "in pain" and wanted to back a candidate who would stand up to the establishment. For example, he pointed to people's frustration with trade deals that have hurt workers in the United States.

"Why do we have so much income and wealth inequality?" Sanders said.

Sanders said he believes many voters decided to back Trump because they believed he would stand up to the media and political establishment. Sanders added that he doesn't believe he will.

The interview will air on "All In With Chris Hayes" at 7 p.m. central time Monday.
