Iowa Glitter Bomber to Surging Santorum: "Stop the hate! Taste the rainbow!"

With only days to go before the Iowa caucuses, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has become the latest GOP hopeful to be "glitter bombed" over his objection to LGBT rights.

As a campaign event in Johnston, Iowa Friday, a man tossed purple glitter at the surging Santorum.

"Stop the hate!" the man exclaimed. "Taste the rainbow!"

"Thank you so much," Santorum said sarcastically, shaking the festive glitter off his hooded jacket.

With shoulders sparkling, the undaunted candidate continued shaking voters' hands.

"I so appreciate you standing up for the Christian values," one woman told him.

Surely this protester has a good point to make, but if a tea party guy did something comparable to one of our politicians, I'd be calling for the police to investigate it as an assault.

I saw and heard so much of that crap in the old South Africa. Sunday for church going, the rest of the week tut-tutting about the evils and inferiorities and laziness of others.

(Church-going is not the problem. It is the worship of the commandments, just to be immediately broken when leaving the kerk.)

... why do people forget we threw out "Man-on-Dog" by nearly 20%? Do those who do remember that remember WHY?
