Brokaw abused his position as an impartial news icon years ago when he went all in for Bush. He has since been a running apologist for Bush and all the Republicans. He's a very wealthy privileged person now and sticks up for his conservative elite friends. It is sickening to watch someone who is put on a pedestal ie. Walter Cronkite, as someone we should all trust to give us the unaltered truth but he's always just smoothing out wing nuts behavour.
