(23 posts)I grew up in the early 90's with Mr. Rogers on TV. Loved the show, feared the puppets.
Watching this though, was an epiphany, and made me realize how much of the feelings of care and empathy that have not lost out to cynicism in me are partially, possibly largely, due to the love and concern of a man I never met. Must be how Christians feel about Christ.
We need the moral teachings of Fred Rogers now more than ever.

Fred Rogers was indeed amazing, and so is this documentary about him... http://misterrogersandme.com/

And thank you for the warm welcome (its more than I could ever expect for from my usual political haunts, bunch of unwitting misanthropes) - long time lurker, 4th time poster

(23 posts)Michael Keaton circa Batman Returns (speaking of my childhood, live-action penguin armies also were a recurring motif!)
Just found this; nice little bio piece. At 4:37 he talks to Dennis Rodman (who we can all agree was way cooler than Jordan) on what I am assuming can only be his version of the failed celebrity talk show.
Weird though, Rodman appeasing dictators (DPRK) like Herr Dongle Drumpf does. Am I reading too much into it by looking for a common psychological thread?
