(22,998 posts)it's just his thing. He thinks he has to win and the method doesn't matter.

(46,572 posts)In his world, he IS working. This is how the network operates. This is why Trump never bothers to delve in facts or detailed reports. Social networking can sidestep the law.

(9,035 posts)Just not on prezidentin'.
He needs to spend 750 hours annually on his real estate projects to qualify for the tax deduction as a real estate professional. That's one reason so many campaign events were held at Trump properties.
It was twofer. The campaign paid him (inflated) amounts to use the facilities, and he counted the time toward his 750 hours. Not we will ever see the tax returns to prove it.

(9,035 posts)In order to qualify he must not only spend at least 750 hours on real estate projects, but time spent on real estate must exceed the combined total of all other activities, meaning he would be admitting to treating the presidency as a (very) part-time job.

(37,648 posts)He's talked about golf at length, over and over through the years. He lives for it, breathes it. IMO, he's addicted to it. AND the kind of people who golf, esp where he golfs (his own courses and resorts), he doesn't have to rub shoulders with the little people. His people are special people, rich people.
He mentioned in an interview before that it's pointless to teach young people how to play golf, unless they can afford to play at nice courses, because it's expensive. (It's only for "his" people.)

(24,631 posts)Air Force one: Estimated at $206,337 per hour. Takes two hours to fly to good old Florida, do the math
President Earnings: $400,000 per year, six days off golfing, estimate $1114.00 per day, not including cocktails and sandwiches
Cost of protecting everyday by the secret service: $2,000,000.00
Miscellaneous expenses, support staff, you know the ones that haven't been vetted to serve meals at a table while taking snap shots on cell phones of "classified documents", priceless ????
So for 6 days and counting of just F***king around, this ass**** is costing everyone in the country:
2,000,000 + 1114.00 + $206,337.00+ $12, 207,451.00
(secret service per day+. 6 x 2 = 12) let me repeat this, over $12,207,451.00 for six days and (Note: only flying for one hour)
So for you fascist's supporters that like to salute a cardboard cut of this dick****, what have you gotten in return for over $12 million in golf outings??????
FU and the horse you road in on

(24,631 posts)and this glaring example of bilking the taxpayers off, is remarkable, this should be presented in ever editorial page in every major newspaper to show what actually this hypocrite is doing, using the national treasury as a big old vacation home for himself, his family and his fascist partners in crime
Imagine a sexual predator living off taxpayer dollars at over $12 million jetting around and playing golf, well that imagination is a reality

(23,812 posts)"In espionage, a resident spy is an agent operating within a foreign country for extended periods of time. A base of operations within a foreign country with which a resident spy may liaise is known as a "station" in English and a rezidentura (residency) in Russian parlance.[1][2] What the U.S. would call a "station chief", the head spy, is known as a rezident in Russian.[1]
DFT looks like such a frumpy slob in the above photo.
How about we call him "pRezident Frump?"
