Just now: Is Rex Tillerson a Russian plant?
The entire Trump administration is a Russian asset.
The government has been infiltrated. And the republicans are complicit.

Under Tillerson the State Department, which in the past has supported dissidents and human rights efforts, is being neutered.
Draw your own conclusions.

(81,220 posts)She's been hitting it out of the ballpark every night for almost a week now.
She's also mentioned Congressman Eric Swalwell's connect-the-dots guide, which I looked up:
ERIC SWALWELL, D-CA (15th District, NorCal)

CONNECTING THE TRUMP-RUSSIA DOTS

If you haven't been able to keep track (because it IS rather convoluted and we seem to keep finding more new elements, players, and inter-connections), or you've been unable to take notes fast enough on Rachel Maddow's "Trump-Russia Master Classes" on MSNBC especially over the past week or so, here's some good reference info.
This is getting out of control.
But in another regard, it's also starting to boil down like a good red wine reduction steak sauce. I keep thinking about this image Chris Matthews conjured up to describe what we're all seeing the White House unspool before our very eyes. He compared it to a jigsaw puzzle. You start looking for all the pieces along the edge. Those edge pieces will have one a straight line (for their place on the edge!), so they should be fairly easy to spot. And once the edge takes shape, you can start moving inward, filling in the center to get the completed image. I feel like we're filling in the blanks of the edge, and in some parts maybe starting to move inward.
I've never seen anything like this. And I was around for Nixon and Watergate, and we all thought that was terrible.

(15,805 posts)and all the other govt agencies that are getting severe cuts to their regular operational budgets? Is anyone going to be available to monitor all the hot spots around the globe, or will anyone answer the phone if an emergency develops? Will anyone even be left who would be knowledgeable enough to hold things together?
Our govt is barely functioning, and now we have possible Russian moles in key positions throughput the Trump administration and hour by hour this whole bizarre nightmare is being flogged from one chaotic incident to the next by a lying, incompetent egomaniac. If another country decided that this was the perfect opportunity to strike the US, would Trump respond with a series of carping tweets, nuke the whole goddamn world, or jet down to Florida for some golf?

(7,503 posts)denial that no one in Trumps orbit met with Russians has been found to be a lie. My guess if feds sit these guys down many are gonna sing. witness JD Gordon saying he had platform changed at Trumps personal insistence.

(81,220 posts)Yeah, it's ALL lies. Seems to me that fits right in, considering how the man at the top is a pathological, congenital, unrepentent, and compulsive liar. Why wouldn't all his little sheep follow right along?
My bet's on Carter Page as the first one to sing. He's already doing interviews, and Chris Hayes on MSNBC the other night rather painstakingly peeled away several layers of his lying. He strikes me as someone who would fold like a piece of paper once he's told in detail what kind of serious prison time he may face unless he coughs up a few things. Watch the birdie!

That's what I saw in my mind while watching Carter Page on the hot seat with Chris Hayes.
