Monty Python's The Flying Circus----- Argument Clinic and " Sunday Talk Shows"

And on the bobblehead talk shows today the public gets nothing. If these shows were to speak out against the lies and hypocrisy, and to "HOLD" these people (republican's) accountable to the lies, and just say to them "YOUR LYING", were are your FACTS, when the FACTS say other wise, we would be a lot better off

Forty-Five years later they have about as much substance and purpose as this pointless argument for argument sake

The Monty Python troupe were nearly unbeatable. Of course, they had The Goon Show as a model to their madness.

British humor has always had a zany edge to it. Try The Dreaded Batter Pudding Hurler (of Bexhill-on-Sea) sometime. Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, and Harry Secombe originated the zany comedy. Not even the Python troupe could match them, although they often came close. Milligan's twisted scripts were often unintelligible, but that was part of their humor. That, and the well-loved recurring cast of characters.

"You silly, twisted boy!"
