So 79 hearings concerning the ACA, versus 2 closed committee hearings for Trumpcare. That sounds equal to me.

I hope some Democratic Senator gets up and reads it verbatim. Hell, I hope Rachel Maddow plays it on her show in its entirety. It deserves to be reprinted in The Nation and on the editorial page of every major paper in the USA.

(130,861 posts)I have little confidence in 'leadership,' and no idea who is actually running things over there. And IF there are changes, it will of course take some time to manifest.

(54,335 posts)This speech, pointing out both Republican callousness AND their hypocrisy, should be recited by at least one Democratic member of the House every morning right after their chaplain's invocation, starting yesterday!
