The only saving grace is that #trumprussia's cabal is so disorganized and downright incompetent, that whatever story they come up with won't hold water for long and it will be added to their list of egregious crimes against humanity. Hope he deconstructs before then though -and he could - since anti-trump circumstances seem to be galloping apace.

4. Hitting the inside with an inside job

For it to work, the next Reichstag Fire would have to look like an attack on Trump himself, or on his administration. It could not be something a simple as a building being burnt or a tower being hit by a plane, or even a US Military installation being attacked by planes.
In order to convince Americans that it is a real threat, the "Fire" will have to hit a type of target that makes it appear as if not only America was attacked, but the current administration as well. For the Trumpettes, to make it work, they will have to be seen as taking a hit.
I would not be surprised at all if Trump himself becomes the target. This would work because, if Trump himself is somehow incapacitated, it puts the strongman Pence in power, or vice versa. Such a move would also break the deadlock between the Republican Party and the Executive Wing.
So don't be surprised in your Reichstag turns out to be Trump himself who is set ablaze.

6. OMG. That's scary.

What's scary is that because of the type of people in the White House, such a thing COULD happen, since such things as collusion with foreign enemy countries and planting foreign agents in key cabinet positions and in charge of security happened.

I have to have faith that some of the sane Republicans are watching and trying to prevent damage to the country. I'm horrified that these people got control of our executive branch.
