Can plastic roads help save the planet? BBC News

We need to rebuild infrastructure. We have lots of plastic waste. This stuff lasts a very long time. Roads should last a very long time. Sounds like it's worth a try.

UK has built roads using this method. And India has used it to fill potholes for some time.

Unless this is another attempt for evil liberals to kill oil jobs out of spite.

Isnt oil a primary ingredient for alot of plastics still? If so then that would kind of kill that argument.

highway contractors don't want to build more durable roads, it's bad for business

In the 1990s here in PA our state announced they had a machine that chewed
up asphalt from the road, ground it up, mixed it with tar, and spit it back down
out the other end, all in one motion. It was slow and the machine expensive,
but it would save money. Never. heard. of. again.

Almost pliant, soft and bendy
Malleable Mountains
Silly Putty River,
Life is molded there
Molded like the trees
Artificial mountains
Blowin' in the breeze
Plastic roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain sex doll
Take me home, plastic roads

My apologizes to John Denver and all humans who can read.

Given the condition of the roads I travel most days, I cringe to think what they're doing to my car.
