Despite what Dilbert says, Climate Science is based on Data, not Models

I was already working on this video when Scott Adam’s laughably unfunny attempt to have Dilbert do climate science appeared, and set the denia-sphere atwitter.

Some will still prefer the cartoon version of science, but fortunately, there are real experts to set the record straight, and I talk to them regularly.

I promised Mr Adams that a video was coming to help him out.

1. Scott Adams is an avowed narcissist.

He is a self-centered libertarian asshole who fancies himself a rationalist. But he keeps changing his position about climate science. I can only conclude that his motivation is to get people to keep paying attention to him. Pathetic.

2. Meh, I like Dilbert

No one can get it right all of the time.

One valid point he is making, even if it falls flat, is that many on our side resort to the kind of name calling and logical fallacies just like the right does when it comes to defending climate scientists.

3. I take it back

I USED to like Dilbert. I just finished reading the first couple of page's of Scott Adam's blog, and he may be second only to Hannity when it comes to actively felating Trump.

Ok, in all honesty, I still kind of like Dilbert. But Adams, wow, what an idiot.
