the point is they want to force churches to promote large families.. Mormonism actually has a very nice welfare scheme that, unlike many will actually help keep your kid in diapers and formula if you do decide to have that epic large family. That strategy is also why, despite being very young as a religion, they have grown quite a bit. However, most churches would know that they do not even need to do that if they can get control of antiabortion laws,, they can just say screw you.
