(9,895 posts)The only reason I ask is that it seems to be quite a big deal if its real...
The lawyer - who showed up in June of 2016 to FLY FROM MOSCOW TO NEW YORK SPECIFICALLY TO MEET WITH TRUMP CAMPAIGN - just so happens to be representing the recipient of massive generosity from Trump's DOJ in the settlement????
REALLY?!?!
I may be in tin foil hat land but this seems to be a pretty big coincidence...I mean really, how many Russian lawyers just HAPPEN to be meeting with the candidate that wins under suspicious conditions (at best) and then just also happens to be representing a $233 MILLION tax fraud case too?

(9,474 posts)Per my post, Preet Bharara was fired while working on this case. I have a feeling Mueller is going to have a field day with this one.

(9,895 posts)Fire the man leading the prosecution of this case and then rush through a settlement like this???
Mueller's investigation is going to read like an inept mafia family getting the book thrown at them while they sit in the room recording their reactions on YouTube...this level of malfeasance and incompetence in one package deal is ASTOUNDING!
