Trump: I dont like Pinocchios

President Donald Trump joked about being subjected to fact checks from the media during his a “Made in America” product showcase at the White House on Monday afternoon.

“We’ve signed more bills, and I’m talking about through the legislature, than any president ever. For a while Harry Truman had us and now I think we have everybody. I better say ‘think,’ otherwise they’ll give me a Pinocchio. I don’t like Pinocchios.”

Trump was referring to the Washington Post’s fact-checking column, which uses a scale of one to five “Pinocchios” to rate the truth of a statement. The publication gave Trump four Pinocchios earlier this year for claiming that “no administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days.”
