I guess it's because their greed know no bounds and always want more. His secretary is taxed at 39 % and he complains about 15% and 20% on capital gains. There is no honest job worth getting paid a billion a year.

Personally, I'd be happy to set it at one million dollars a year, but I'll give sympathy to all those wealthy schmucks out there and allow 10 or even 20 million a year. No matter what the source of income: capital gains, deferred interest, salary, stock options, whatever. Everything over the maximum amount (and hey! even make it 50 or 75 million a year) goes straight into programs that help the poor: Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing. Stuff like that.
