I would very much like to see the DNC come out and actually announced platform and plan for America rather than just reacting to the insanity of this cabal.

So it sounds good. I just wonder how you would lower costs of living, as he proposes. The cost of living is so high in some places. With stagnant wages, the costs of living keep going up...utilities, cable, internet, phone, groceries, sales taxes, services...

What they are missing most of all is a charismatic leader (or two), who could run for President. The Dem Party doesn't have a shining knight, really. Franken is as close to one as i can think of.

What was so wrong with what he said? The facts are that Trump was the worst candidate of all time and while there was meddling, voter suppression and an outdated electoral system, that isn't enough to explain his win. Even Hillary has admitted there were mistakes and that she is not the best campaigner. Why is it such a sin to try and remedy mistakes?
Why is it wrong to address polls that show a large majority think the Dems main strategy is just to attack Trump and that they have no real message beyond that? Schumer didn't make up those polls.
And why are ageist attacks on "old white men" and other such divisiveness OK? How does that get more Democrats elected?

You have to address these issues unless you want a repeat in 2018 and 2020. I voted for Hillary in the primary and in the general and think she would have made an excellent President. But she wasn't perfect and some on here seem more intent on stirring the pot against fellow Dems and rejecting any constructive criticism out of hand. We have an existential threat against our democracy and now is the time for all hands on deck. Petty attacks on solid Democrats like Schumer and allies aren't going to take our country back. Talking about ways to do that in a constructive way is the way to go forward.
