TYT on Current: Cenk interviews Jimmie Walker (JJ from Good Times) on Walker opposing gay marriage

Description: "Actor Jimmie Walker tells Cenk why he doesn't support Barack Obama's politics and why he supports civil unions but not gay marriage."

Wow. Ever imagined that JJ "Dy-No-Mite!" from Good Times would be a raging homophobe in real life? Yet Walker admits he's never been married and has no interest in being married.

Walker doesn't actually say anything.

He says his "values" and "morals" come into play... these words are overused and under-substantiated in our time to have any real meaning.

I think he is really basing his argument on his ego influenced by the social proof provided by the historically dominant culture (white, religious etc) and the black community.

I don't understand how the black community gets homosexuality wrong with so many similarities in discrimination.

I digress.

Or he just wants to be the other side to a conversation. Either way I feel older for watching the tape.

JJ Walker had better look for something else to oppose because all his arguments against gay marriage, and Obama are just balderdash - period!

I know it's going on, I know in a 100 years it'll be normal. Just don't talk to me about it. I don't wanna know.

Sounds like a codependent family member denying Uncle Wally is an alcoholic just cause he passes out in his own vodka vomit each night. Only in this case, Uncle Wally is his own bigoted, fallacious arguments.
